Alicia Carol, Ms. Alicia or AC, owner of AC Arts Time, has been teaching private lessons and classes for over 25+ years. She started singing at the age of 5 and performing professionally at the age of 16. She currently writes music, plays keys and performs in bands in Denver, Co. She started piano at the age of 7 and really started to enjoy it the most when she learned to sing while playing and writing her own songs.
Her speciality is creating a welcoming and fun space to teach beginner to intermediate students in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, Audition Prep. and all levels in Singing. Alicia, after college, traveled the United States performing in many different musicals and theater productions eventually landing her in New York, NY. She studied at Circle in the Square Theatre & School. This deepened her theater and music theater knowledge for auditioning and performing. Her favorite role will always be playing Dot in Sunday in the Park with George which you will see her display in her Denver Studio.
She received degrees in Vocal Performance and a minor in theater from Wichita State University and her Masters in Music from Colorado State University with emphasis in Music Therapy. She Is a Board Certified Music therapist and loves working with clients to achieve their personal goals through the use of adaptive lessons and songwriting.
